News RITANZ Future Leaders Pub Quiz

24 October 2025

RITANZ hosted the inaugural Future Leaders Pub Quiz on Thursday 23 October in Auckland, and it was an undeniable success. The first event of its kind, brought together professionals in the earlier stages of their careers for a fun and engaging evening of connection, collaboration, and friendly competition.

It was fantastic to see so many come together from across the restructuring and insolvency profession to connect and enjoy a social evening of fun. Teams were allocated on arrival to encourage networking and help participants meet new people.

Congratulations to all the teams — especially those who took home prizes! We hope you enjoyed the evening.

A special thank you to Pavilion Kitchen who did a wonderful job with the catering. They generously supplied the food for this event, and we are very grateful for their contribution. I encourage our members to think of them for lunch, in office catering and future events! Pavilion Kitchen | Espresso 48

It is exciting to see the Future Leaders’ initiatives build momentum. Our first event, which was held as part of the RITANZ 2025 Conference activities at Dentons New Zealand Auckland office featured Joel Barolsky who gave a presentation on how business development can pave the way to partnership.

From there, a committee was formed to drive initiatives and events for those at earlier stages of their careers – to build networks, encourage learning and retain the incredible talent we have in the profession.

The Future Leaders committee include  Lucy Harrison, Gus Ullrich, Nick Botica, CA , Lily Chen, and Meggan Staines, thank you for the success of your first event! We’re excited for what's on the horizon and look forward to seeing this momentum continue.

The next event will be a luncheon on Thursday 20 November at PwC New Zealand Auckland. Watch this space for more details!
