Presenter Bio:
Sean Keane is the founder and Managing Director of Triple T Consulting which specializes in macro-economic policy analysis, with particular focus on the policy settings of the major central banks and the liquidity and stability of the funding markets. He pays particular attention to the activities of the RBA and the RBNZ and the way in which the financial markets interpret their policy outlook.
Sean is the Chief Strategist for London based JB Drax Honore, and he is Chair of property financier Pearlfisher Capital in New Zealand. He is also a Senior Advisor to Jarden Group, having recently retired from the Board after more than 12 years. Previously Sean has held roles on a number of listed and unlisted Boards.
Sean’s career spans more than 35 years in the financial markets, in a variety of senior roles in London, Wellington, Sydney, Singapore and Tokyo, retiring as Managing Director of interest rate trading and bank funding at CSFB.
Sean is frequently called upon for media comment about market developments, and he regularly delivers presentations to senior business and industry groups around the world. He holds an Honours Degree in Economics and Government, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business.
He resides in Auckland but is a frequent visitor to the major international trading capitals around the world, spending around a quarter of his time offshore meeting clients.
