Topic: IS standard/Insolvency Practitioner Regulations webinar
If you are a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, please join the NZICA team at this 2-part webinar series. The first session will provide an overview of the standard conditions on all insolvency practitioner licenses and the role of NZICA, including a high level overview of the professional and ethical standards.
The second session will be held on the 5th April 2023 and will delve further into the professional standards and the reporting requirements. A separate invitation will be sent closer to the time.
Presenters:
Bernie Tamihere CA – NZ Quality Assurance Manager
Bernie has been part of the NZ Regulation team at CA ANZ since 2014 and was involved in the implementation of both the previous accreditation regime and the subsequent statutory licensing regime. She is responsible for the regulation and monitoring of NZ resident members of CA ANZ and NZ Licensed Insolvency Practitioners. Prior to her role at CA ANZ, she was based in London and was a Vice President at Barclays Capital and prior to that at Morgan Stanley.
Tracy Bignell CA – Professional Standards and Member Care Advisor
Tracy joined CA ANZ in 2017. She is primarily responsible for the review and updating of the NZICA professional and ethical standards but also supports CA ANZ members to navigate and resolve their professional and ethical queries where appropriate. Previously, Tracy held various roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers in both Wellington and Toronto.
Dennis Parsons CA – Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and NZICA Practice Reviewer
Dennis has had an extensive career working on a wide range of insolvency, governance and enforcement assignments as an insolvency specialist, forensic accountant and fraud examiner through various firms in NZ and overseas and now continues through his own firm. He has been a Practice Reviewer for a number of years, including throughout the previous accreditation regime and the implementation of the statutory regime.
