Topic: An evidence-based approach to burnout reduction
This practical session will give you tools to recognize symptoms of burnout and to eliminate or reduce them both on an organizational level and on a personal one. We’re also going to address the potential impact working with clients as an insolvency practitioner might have on your mental wellbeing and how to protect your mental health.
These are the topics we will discuss:
– how to manage the mental toll that difficult client interaction can take
– how to identify burnout in yourself and your people
– what to do on an individual level to protect yourself from burning out
– what to do on an organizational level to ensure you retain your top talent
Meet Your Trainer: Dr. Georgi Toma
Dr. Georgi Toma is an expert in stress, burnout and workplace mental health. She is the creator of The Wellbeing Protocol, a scientifically-validated mental health program to reduce burnout and improve mental wellbeing.
Georgi founded Heart and Brain Works through which she supports companies to create psychologically safe and productive workplaces.
She has worked with organisations such as PepsiCo, Korn Ferry, APM Workcare, The University of Auckland, Mates4Mates, Wairarapa Business Chamber, to name a few, to create healthy work environments and equip their staff with the skills required to thrive.
Georgi also conducts research at the University of Auckland. Her areas of interest are psychosocial hazards in the workplace, employee burnout and wellbeing.
